How Do You Work With Us?

Our design process is an integral part in how we execute on your project. We believe these steps create transparency, a key business value of ours. Our journey typically begins with an understanding of the project scope and timeline, continues on with a design solution and then transitions into implementation.

Here is an outline of the 3 Phases in our Process:

The Consultation:

The project kickstarts with a two hour meeting to discuss your requirements, preferences, and budget. We assess the space, discuss any questions about the project, and take photos and preliminary measurements. Based on our discussion, we will set up a meeting to review our proposal outlining the recommendations for your project.

Concept Development:

This an essential part of the process. Once you give us the green light, here’s where we roll up our sleeves and get to work. We will research and present you with a design direction which may include floor plans, renderings, colour schemes, furnishings, sample materials, estimated budget etc. for review and approval.

Implementation and Installation:

This phase typically involves the execution of the design plan developed during the earlier phases of the project. This phase can include several key steps, such as:

  • Procurement of materials and furnishings
  • Coordination with contractors and vendors
  • Supervision of installation
  • Styling and finishing touches
  • Project Management

Overall, the implementation and installation phase of the project requires careful planning to ensure that the final result meets your expectations and vision for the space.

What My Clients Say

I hired Anna-Ruth to make updates to our great room. It was getting a bit dated, so I wanted to freshen the space. We created a gallery and Anna-Ruth, who has an amazing intrinsic sense of colour, form and design, hooked in elements between the art and the furniture. One of the pieces is this impressive coffee table. Anna-Ruth was able to pick up the beautiful honey tones within the table and reflect that in the artwork. Before, it was just a table in a room; now, it’s a showpiece. We also hired her as a project manager when we commissioned three art pieces. She coordinated with the artists to create the perfect pieces that fit the colour scheme, our personalities and the space. I appreciate her openness to explore ideas beyond her personal preference - Anna-Ruth’s honesty and integrity show that she always has your best interest in mind.
